A 10K in Suwanee, Georgia. Great way to start a weekend.

I ran my first 10K in about 10 years this morning. My training was not where I wanted it to be, but it was good to get out and compete in a run again.  Suwanee is a great little Georgia town and the 5K/10K events are part of the Suwanee Day annual events; the organizers of today’s event–BodyPlex, where we work out–made special mention of the victims of 9/11.

Enoch finished 3rd among 20-24 yr olds; I finished second among 55-59ers.

I finished second among the 55-59 age group. Man, I’m getting old. But running regularly is a part of the effort to deny age and to be around for my young wife and very young children for many years.

A fun morning running on the trails of Suwanne.
